123/365 – Floating daisy

My third Thursday off in a row – I could get used to this!

Saying that, I have been going into school different days but it always feels nicer when you’re usually meant to be somewhere and you’re not. It’s also nice when you have time for a cooked breakfast. I can’t remember the last time I had one, so my bacon, hash browns, beans and scrambled eggs were very much appreciated this morning.

The other day I bought a photo magazine with lots of exciting projects in it to try. I’m looking forward to giving some of them ago. It would be nice if the weather would improve a little too so I can go out and take a few landscapes. Until then, there are some very interesting indoor ideas which I’m hoping to attempt over the weekend.

Today’s picture is of a daisy I took in the park the other day. It was nice to have a day free so I could sit and play about with it in Photoshop. I wanted to blur the background to make the daisy stand out from the foliage and I’m quite pleased with final result.
